I sell real random likes, which I get through a social swapping site, and these are a fast, cheap, and easy way to boost the numbers.
I also get targeted fans for my clients by managing a Facebook Ads campaign for them, and managing the social media optimization of the page.
For example, before you even make a page, you need to do keyword research to pick the right title, so that if you rank on Google, you’re ranking for a phrase with good exact match monthly search volume.
You can rank a Facebook page on Google just through the amount of fans you have, but for higher competition searches, you need more internal links within Facebook, lots of quality content, and authority, relevant back links from other sites.
I often see people make a Facebook page for their small business that has the title of their brand name, company name, or domain name.
This is fine to do, some people will be searching for you by your name, but you also need to rank for the phrases that people do to find a business like yours.
You will get no new customers, or no customers who didn’t already know who you were unless you make pages with keywords that describe what your business does.
How Does A Facebook Page Get Traffic?
There are only two or maybe three ways to get traffic to your page. You either rank in a Google search or a Facebook search, or you run an ad campaign, or your business spreads through word of mouth, or goes viral.
If you aren’t taking advantage of one of those traffic sources, random likes will not help you at all, or it is very unlikely that a random person on a social swapping site will become your customer.
What I do is identify which strategy needs to be used, and help with either SEO, or the management of a paid advertising campaign.
I don’t just deal with Facebook, but also Google Plus, Twitter, You Tube, WordPress, Blogger, Linked In, Stumble Upon, whatever your business requires, I can do.
